In 2026, Metropolis will take place: a youth and arts festival in collaboration with Madam Fortuna, Muziektheater Transparant, Tutti Fratelli, Arenberg, KASK Antwerp, de!Kunsthumaniora and De Singel.
Metropolis is a festival by and for young people, rooted in major questions about the future:
What will the city look like in 2126?
How will we live together?
What role will technology play in our daily lives?
What are our dreams, challenges and possibilities?
Who are we looking for?
Are you between 17 and 25 years old, creative, curious, and passionate about art and culture?
Do you want to help build a festival and gain experience in the cultural sector?
Then this open call is for you!
We are looking for young people who want to be part of the Metropolis organizing team: The 7 of Antwerp, a think tank that contributes to the concept, vision, artistic content, and overall organization of this future-focused festival.

In practice
For this new festival, we are specifically looking for members to join a communication team, a production team, and an artistic and programming team.
Starting in February, you will actively be involved in the organization and in various preparatory phases of the festival.

- Regular involvement between February and November 2026 — you help shape a major project and actively contribute to its development. The festival depends on your engagement

Practical information
- Start: mid-February 2026
- General meetings: every 3 weeks we meet (in person/online) to share updates and follow the progress together
